
Jina Suh is a Principal Researcher at Microsoft Research exploring the intersection of AI, mental health, and psychological safety. Her interdisciplinary work draws from HCI, Affective Computing, and Psychology to design human-centered AI systems that promote wellbeing while anticipating and mitigating potential harms. She studies how technology design and development practices influence mental health across clinical, workplace, and everyday contexts. Jina received her PhD in Computer Science and MS in Human-Centered Design and Engineering from the University of Washington and previously worked as a developer at Xbox.
